Patrick Williamson, is an English poet and translator, born in Madrid in 1960. he currently lives and works near Paris. he has translated Yves Bonnefoy and Jacques Dupin among others and published selected poems in translation of Tunisian poet Tahar Bekri and Quebec poet Gilles Cyr. In 1995 and 2003, he was an invited poet at the Festival International de Poésie à Trois-Rivières, Québec. He recently edited "The Parley Tree, Poets from French-speaking Africa and the Arab World" (Arc Publications, 2012).
